I'm Mira, the numbers girl for iconic founders.

I have a background in the scientific method, and I bring that same rigor to business strategy, blended with an obsession for problem-solving, aesthetics, and building things right.

In 2018 I co-founded Maison d'Étude, a boutique tutoring company in Montreal that became one of the city's top educational institutions. Since 2020 I've consulted for founders and brands across Canada, the US, and Mexico, from entrepreneurs like Miki and Radha Agrawal to teams at Notion, Figma, Intercom, and Ramp.

Today, through The Essentials Agency, I help founders (especially women) past the $1M mark build the financial models, systems, and strategy their business has outgrown doing without.

  • Maria Perezalonso

    ASSISTANT STRATEGIST

Maria is an assistant strategist and a forever explorer, with a background in business, marketing & sustainability.
As a consultant and project manager, she has worked across public, private and third sectors around the world, from Kenya to London to Mexico.

At both the German Cooperation in Mexico and the National Banking Association, she led nationwide communication strategies and events. Always happiest working alongside entrepreneurs, she also took an organic skincare brand from concept to launch.

Curious about all things wellness, she is especially drawn to traditional practices for a healthier, more balanced life.
In her free time, she is learning about "Thinking in Systems" and practicing chi-kung.

  • LUCERO LACHICA

    COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIST

Lucero is a communications strategist with a background in Sustainable Development Engineering and creative writing. Her career began in sustainability and business consulting, where much of her work centered on a question she still carries today: how do you translate complex ideas into something people can understand, connect with, and act on?

At The ESSENTIALS agency, She helps uncover the heart of an idea and translate it into a clear narrative, while building the structure to carry it forward. She is drawn to work that requires both structure and creativity, analysis and intuition.

Lucero is curious about the complexity of the human experience: what gives us purpose, what moves us, and where we find meaning. She is fascinated by the ways our experiences can become opportunities to understand ourselves and one another more deeply, and by the idea of moving through life with enough curiosity to see it as a constant playground for growth and evolution.

  • FRIDA ARCHUNDIA

    FINANCIAL STRATEGIST

Frida is a finance and strategy professional, Excel & PowerBi lover, and firm believer that numbers don’t have to feel so serious. Her work integrates numbers, strategy, and problem-solving. She specializes in building financial models, projections, business cases, and dashboards that turn information into something clear, useful, and actionable.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Management and International Business, a Master’s in Finance, and a career in Big Four consulting, Frida has worked across different industries and types of businesses. Alongside consulting, she loves taking on independent projects that allow her to work more closely with businesses and their ideas. She enjoys playing with numbers, finding structure in the mess, and uncovering the story behind the data.

Outside of work, Frida is endlessly curious about people, places, and life in general. She loves traveling, discovering new places, and meeting people along the way. She equally enjoys a free Saturday with a slow morning, coffee, brunch, and ending the day hosting dinner at home with her favorite people.

  • MIMI AUDELLYNN

    ASSISTANT

Mimi is a visual designer and lifelong creative, with a background in entrepreneurship and building from the ground up. She creates everything from presentations and brand identities to the ideas and systems that bring businesses to life, with much of her experience rooted in the wellness space. She’s also owned and operated her own businesses, both IRL and URL, from vintage resale to psychedelic education.

Her design sensibility is inspired by a love of “naive design” - bringing the whimsy, imperfection, and uninhibited creativity of childhood into her work. She’s endlessly curious and happiest when imagining, exploring, and turning ideas into something tangible.

Mimi currently lives in Antigua, Guatemala where she spends her free time making art and ice cream.
