  • About the Company

Nin is a studio of interconnected artisans creating clothing in México City.

They are holistic in their approach to create each item, working with their hands to make sample pieces before carefully overseeing the production process.

Nin’s use of fabrics is focused through environmental care and minimal waste. They source their fabrics and produce their clothes in and around México City, minimizing carbon emissions. They create with small businesses in their community, cultivating trust and respect with everyone they work with.

    About our Work

Nin’s founder, Britt Maton, was facing a big opportunity of growth. They had just decided to switch factories, and pitch their brand to international distributors. It was clear that the D2C approach wouldn’t scale as quickly, and because the whole company is bootstrapped (meaning they operate from the revenue they generate) they needed more consistent sale.

We developed a wholesale expansion strategy, including projections that helped us define minimums and reasonable targets. We also re-evaluated their pricing strategy to make sure the margins were enough to cover their growing overhead.

    Results

    • New pricing strategy and tools to minimize losses

    • Wholesale distribution strategy including outreach and communication

    • Calculation of their true overhead costs including the founder’s salary

  • About the Company

Riise is an adaptogenic non-alcoholic beverage brand based in Mexico City. Their mission is to support physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being by building a culture based in consciousness and connection.

    About our Work

Dan Haddad, founder of Riise, is a serial entrepreneur. In addition to being a meditation teacher, running her own membership platform, creating a podcast, and being a public speaker, she also founded a first-of-its-kind canned beverage company. She bootstrapped an innovative brand with a formula she came up with herself, and after the first year it generated so much buzz, she knew she was onto something. Our work together started with a deep financial audit to explore how Riise could grow into a global brand and what that would entail.

    Results

    • Clear cost-per-unit calculations to set wholesale and retail pricing

    • Custom reporting from sales channels

    • Consolidated data and KPI tracking

    • Financial projections with different funding options and growth scenarios

  • About the Company

Bestowe is a sustainable, artisanal, and inclusive corporate gifting platform based in Southern California. They support local small-batch businesses that are dedicated to their craft, and plant one tree for every gift.

    About our Work

The founder of Bestowe, Catherine Weis, was looking for support in scaling the business after having left her corporate marketing job and dedicating herself to the business full time. We needed to expand the business into different departments with their own processes, and do a deep financial analysis to identify opportunities and a clear spending plan.

    Results

Within the first year of our work together, Bestowe’s revenue more than doubled, allowing Catherine to hire a sales associate, rebrand, and invest in smarter systems. We also created:

    • Detailed projections with revenue targets and a spending plan

    • Clear job descriptions and role delegation

    • A pricing tool to make sure each project is profitable

    • A financial analysis tool to see where she could tighten her operations

    • Onboarding manuals for new team members

  • About the Company

Created by Dana El Masri, Jazmin Saraï (pronounced Jasmine Sar-eye) is an artisan line of small batch, unisex perfumes and scented products crafted in Los Angeles, California (previously in Montreal, Canada). Each and every perfume and scented oil is created with high quality, mixed-media ingredients, always conscious of sourcing as many bio-degradable materials as possible, from their place of origin, as well as from ethical & reputable suppliers.

    About our Work

Founder, Dana, approached me to help do an audit and growth strategy after almost 10 years of running the brand herself. Like many solo-founded and small-batch brands, she had built out the tools she needed by necessity, but none of them worked seamlessly together. Also, as a creative, the numbers side of things were often left as an afterthought. We worked together to get everything organized and mark the start of a new milestone.

    Results

    • Updated costs and pricing tool with targets

    • A website audit and improvements to messaging and user experience

    • Social media posting guidelines to help feature her core products

    • A newsletter communication strategy

  • About the Company

La Señora de Costco is one of the most established social media accounts in Mexico, featuring Costco finds of the week, recipes, and hacks for the home. She has grown to almost 2 million followers on Instagram in 5 short years, all through organic reach, and without ever showing her face (she has some very famous hands). Her content is so relatable, making her a household name in Mexico. La Señora de Costco has an almost cult-like following and the metrics to prove it.

    About our Work

La Señora herself realized it was time to turn her business into a company. We started by doing a major audit of everything that happened in the foundational years to assess opportunities and threats. We then moved into a strategic implementation phase, hiring key people to grow the team, establishing new processes and tools, and setting up LSDC to be a global brand in the next few years - without all the pressure falling on her own shoulders.

    Results

In our first six months we restructured the whole back-end of the LSDC operations and have set it up for major growth.

    • New organizational structure with 4 key hires as well as agencies and freelancers

    • A financial audit that revealed a major savings opportunity

    • The construction of a whole new branch of the business to diversify the audience, revenue, and be less platform-dependent

    • Updated processes to allow for more delegation, efficiency, and collaboration with team members

    • Optimization of all communication channels including the newsletter, website, and automations

    About our Work

Diego approached me looking for a financial strategy in preparation for the airing of his America’s Got Talent episode, knowing he could leverage it for massive expansion of his name and brand. We did a deep financial audit and built out a robust offering suite that aligned with his goals, audience, and big ambitions.

    Results

    • A proper income and expense tracking system for his team to use and implement
